Well, most of the reasons are pretty simple.
We wanted to change it up to make you log in more often, and post more stuff on your own. It’s a lot of stuff for just one or two people to keep up with. Neil has been very gracious with his time and expertise over the years.
There are were some technical issues with the former platform of the website. The new format (wordpress) is much more powerful. They both have common features, but there is a lot more room to grow, and a whole lot of support is available.
It also gives us more control and security over what is going on. Please dig around, post in the forums, submit stories about what you have going on your way, and make suggestions. That is how we will grow and stay around for another seven years.
I realize that some of you aren’t doing much transmitting (or broadcasting) right now. Thats cool…We all go through that. Keep making FieldComm part of your experience…Broadcast to those that are signed on here until you pick up the microphone or key again.
