Just to update anyone who is interested – both the 28.231 and 50.079.5 MHz beacons are off the air pending restoration of power to their locations. Additionally, the 462.625 MHz repeater is off with an unknown date of return. The 224.52 MHz system is also off the air and we expect it will be several days before it is restored.
The 462.600 FieldComm North system remains operational but on battery backup. I expect this to last through tomorrow evening. Please limit comms to essential operations and be prepared for the repeater to go off the air when the batteries die. Recovery is occuring in the area, but with close to a million people without power these systems will take some time to restore.
