Welcome to FieldComm APRS

Thanks for visiting our site. Here, you'll find information on the APRS stations in operation by our members in Central Virginia and throughout the country. You'll notice that each station is different in its construction, showing just how versatile APRS can be, to adapt to just about any operating conditions. We welcome your questions, comments, and contributions.

Within each article, you'll see APRS-equipped callsigns as links. By clicking on a callsign, you will be taken to a Findu map to see that station's current status and location.

Please note: Many articles contain more images and text than you'll see at first glance. Please look for the "Read More" link at the bottom of each article to see the full story.

This GPS is intended for commercial use, and is installed in Doug's truck so his D700 and his laptop can take advantage of the multiple outputs.
