Jay and all,

Thanks for the reminder via the pic for Dayton this year. I may have a good reason to attend this year in my continued search for the FT101. Then again I may not attend for that reason as I should hear something shortly. No other details. Will divulge when I know.

OM:

Looking forward to seeing anyone/everyone there again in 2010. I always have nothing short of a fantastic time there, no matter who comes (but the more the merrier).

The countdown is on the front page!

Jay

I'll be volunteering for (and riding in, for the second year) the local MS bike tour that weekend. So sadly, I won't be able to attend.

The invitation is still open for anyone who wants to come to the Orlando hamfest in February. It's second only to Dayton in size. It's Feb 12-14, 2010.
Tickets for the weekend are $12.00, or $10 in advance at www.hamcation.com.

I live two hours from Orlando, and it's an easy drive there.

If anyone would like to check it out this year, let me know, and I'll give you more details.

I'll build a brewery in my back yard if it would make a difference.

Brad tried to home brew beer once, and said it didn't go well.

I may make 2010 my year to hit some of the other hamfests I've wanted to go to. Jason yours would be nice, the Birmingham Alabama show, SeaPac in the northwest, one near Toronto, and perhaps one in the northeast USA would be nice.

With that said, I'm still carrying my happy ass to Dayton FIRST, and hope to see as many as possible. James, Paul, you guys are especially invited, since you are both digging back into radio heavily.

Jay

p.s.

All though there is always debate and variation - I've seen Shelby, NC generally referred to as the second largest. Anyway, I want to hit some bigger shows.

Just reserved three rooms:

Fairfield Inn
6960 Miller Lane
Dayton, Ohio 45414 USA
Phone: 1-937-898-1120
Fax: 1-937-898-1120

$109 a night. Two rooms are doubles, and one has a king. That's what I could get. I tried to get rooms at the Drury up the block that David and I have always wanted to get rooms at, and they had one handicapped king. Crazy! Anyway, this is about 10 mins from the arena...Same place Neil, Brad, David, Gary and myself stayed a couple of years ago. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants, etc.

Who is in?
